My educational background is in healthcare having earned an MSN from Suny Upstate Medical University of Syracuse and working for more than 40 years as a Nurse Practitioner.  But, I always wanted to paint.  I have been painting for several years, although not consistently until my retirement in 2021.  I have enjoyed taking several classes at various art centers on Cape Cod and learning from some exceptional artists.

My paintings are primarily landscapes and beach scenes in oils.  I am inspired by the Impressionists. Recently I have been experimenting with non-traditional colors in my tree landscapes in the style of Wolf Kahn.  Most of my work is from my own photos, my imagination, and plein air.  My paintings were exhibited at The 204 in Harwich, June 2024.
